What is Revisal?
Revisal is a mandatory system for all companies in Romania, regulated by Law no. 53/2003 – Labor Code. It allows employers to record essential information about their employees, including personal data, employment contracts, changes to them and termination of employment. The data in Revisal is checked by the ITM (Territorial Labor Inspectorate). Failure to comply with the regulations carries penalties.
Any modification of the employment contract (change of salary, change of workplace, transfer of an employee, etc.) must be registered within 20 working days.
